What foods should you exclude from your diet if you are allergic to pollen?

If allergic to pollen of complex flowering grasses (mugwort, ragweed):

Sunflower oil, sunflower seeds and their products;
chicory;
gourds (watermelon, melon, pumpkin, courgettes);
herbs and spices (celery, dill, cumin, parsley, cary, pepper, anise, nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger and coriander).
Also, some people have a reaction to bananas, carrots, garlic and citrus fruits.

If allergic to the pollen of mare grasses (ragweed):

beetroot;
spinach.
If you suspect a cross allergy, it is important to see an allergist for tests and a personalised treatment and prevention plan.
